AboutMy mission is to help tackle individual and systematic oppression, specifically in workplace environments. I do this by designing tailored interventions within organisations.
My journey I am a multi-award-winning DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Consultant and campaigner. I grew up with two core passions that kept me busy - football and social justice. During my time studying Politics at SOAS, I was lucky enough to combine my two passions in a role at Kick It Out, football’s anti-discrimination organisation. My work there including supporting mentoring programmes to diversify football's workforce, and educating stakeholders in the game. I decided to move out of football to learn and create best practice within other sectors in multiple roles as an DEI consultant and advisor. Over the past ten years, I have provided consultancy to over 200 of the world’s largest employers and global brands. In 2020, I launched my own consultancy to go back to combine my roots in anti-discrimination work with my workplace DEI work across business and sport. I have established myself as a leader in this field and have been featured in The Times, The Telegraph, Metro.co.uk and The Washington Post among others. Alongside my consultancy work, I run Nutmegs, a football community for women and non-binary people of colour alongside being a committed Board Director for Goals 4 Girls and Spirit of 2012. I lecture on Race and Sport and am currently researching the experiences of women from Black and minority-ethic backgrounds in sports leadership positions. |
